  • Estadio

By Santa & Cole A sturdy luminous ring, originally conceived for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic stadium, its concept predecessor is found in the ironwork luminaries used to hold up candles, the traditional depiction of mediaeval chandeliers in palaces and cathedrals. A tubular structure forms the frame of the ring, the inner and outer shades of which are made from glass block sections that disperse the light by means of vertical light and shade streaks. The Estadio collection, with various pendant diameters, is complemented by the Línea Estadio (with a straight structure, which can be linked one after the other) and the Estadio wall lamp. Size: 36 (H) x 150 / 250 (Dia)
  • GT7

By Santa & Cole The imposing GT7 ribbon shade lamp appears to be similar to the GT5, although it is larger in size, meaning it needed to be strengthened and had to incorporate an upper metal disc (near to the three light sources) as well as the lower light diffusing disc. Ever since the early 1990s, Santa & Cole has championed the use of ribbon shades to embellish all manner of light sources, exploring textiles and experimenting with colours and tones (they even enlisted the help of Raw Color studio). The GT5 was the first in the collection arising as an alternative to the use of continuous textile, methacrylate and cardboard shades. It was followed by the GT6 and, later on, the larger GT7, GT1000 and GT1500, designed for use in public venues owing to their large dimensions. This is a colourful family that is able to change its scale without losing its essence. Size: 44 (H) x 90 (Dia)
  • La Colilla

By Santa & Cole Certain presences can be felt as dusk falls: the stars in the sky, the fireflies of the night or the embers of the fireplace, as the sun goes down. Indeed, this lamp, conceived as an accompanying light, is ideal for music, conversation or love. Wherever the night falls, La Colilla has a home. It comprises a translucent, two-metre-long, lightly patterned tube that serves as the shade for an array of small neon bulbs. Its power usage is virtually nil (less than 1 watt) and it has an extensive service life, so much so that it comes without a switch so it may be left on around the clock. Hanging from a delicate, resistant thread it appears to be floating in thin air. It has a variety of uses: in bedrooms or lounges, a pilot light for the landing, staircase or porch, and even as calming guardian of children’s dreams. Size: 2.5 (H) x 200 (Dia)
